Summoner has been confirmed in the future

The thing is, they didn't say "special." The way it was stated told me that this was how you used summons. You had to form a free company to use them.

We don't know that the summons will be pets, either. They could be just grand spells like in many single player ffs.

Unless I missed something, the idea of pets and summons came up two specific times.

1. In the interviews, stating that the primals would be used as free company summons(may have also been in the outline?)
2. In the outline, there is a line mentioning pets. It mentions tameable pets and summonable spirits will be added.


Actually. Found the last one, under the Systems and Content list.

This leads me to believe that since all jobs/classes will not get the summoning ability, that they are certainly implying that it will be restricted to NOT ALL OF THEM(Edited for accuracy) .(Not including the Primal free company summons)
