Can we expect a new Main Hand relic?

Just out of curiosity, are there any plans on implementing a new Main tool for crafters? A bit like the next lucis?

i'd like to know if i should be throwing away all my lucis at this point. i need the retainer space but its one of those things where i fear the moment i do toss em, i find out i should have kept them

I kept mines too in case of....but i hope just not, we spent so much time and ressources for having our Lucis and once the next patch was up all thoses tools were just outdated so fast and by some "white" HQ tools...

It's not motivating but more frustrating.

I doubt you would need them, but it's possible you might be able to skip a step in the grind if you have one, sort of like they did with the Zeta weapons for the Anima questlines.

A better question might be why you can't put your Lucis tools in the armoire, so you wouldn't have to make a decision like this.

I know my Mammon Lucis was equivalent in stats to a NQ Adamantite Dolabra...aka the lvl 60 tool. So for leveling yes use them.

If it's a "i like the look" then go ahead and toss em the requirements for getting another Lucis have gone down so far it made me cry a bit.

I actually just whipped together a Lucis crafting tool the other day, practically from scratch. I had a bunch of extra GC seals, and while debating what to do with them, I decided to get that "Light of Hand" achievement I had been missing. I think the worst part of it was getting the fieldcraft III demimateria, because I still don't think there is a method for farming that as good as desynthing the bridesmaid shoes.

So while a new crafting relic might be cool, the existing Lucis tools are so easy to obtain now, that I think there isn't much point in requiring them as a prerequisite.

Lucious tools has never been a relic, it was merely a BiS tool that took more effort to obtain similar to the i170 one we can craft now.

Not to mention the lucious became obsolete long time ago and it would be foolish of SE to assume people saved them when there has been no apparent reason at all that they would play any kind of role in the future.
