if you are a hoarder that never throws anything away, no MMO will ever have enough space. But FFXIV does give you 2 retainers (bank characters), are those all full, too? O.o

I agree that SE will need to think about adding a glamour book or glamour bank of some sort. It would help with the inventory clutter for sure.

Some glamour items (like event gear) can be stored in the Armoire in your Inn room. That might free up some space for you. But if you have already done that, then you may need to go through your stash and throw away/sell anything you don't use or don't want to keep.

Some mmo's have issues for sure, some are worse than others. I can only really comment on this game and Blade and Soul as those are the two I play.

While FFXIV has it's issues it's certainly not as bad as Blade and Soul, they actually make you purchase bags to unlock more space and even getting the premium membership doesn't help with getting more bags either.

In Ragnarok Online, back where the Kafra storage had only 300 item slots, storage space got rare the moment you leveled up 3 characters (every character on the same server share the same Kafra storage).
Later it got expanded to 600 storage slots, but space got rare again after it was possible to create 5-9 characters.

Um, looking at your Lodestone profile, you have almost everything at 60 besides BLM and MCH. Is this a troll thread?

You could buy extra slots in DCUO, which was kind of lame, but they don't have the same stupid glamour system we do, that is pretty much designed to make us buy retainers. Over there you can glamour any piece of gear you have tried on, any color, with no dyes or glamour prism, even if you discard the item. FFXIV goes out of its way to bloat your inventory.

Just because they're not new to this MMO doesn't mean they're not new to MMOs in general. I know a lot of people for whom XIV is their first MMO and haven't experienced this elsewhere.

And yes, inventory issues can be a problem... it's kinda the same thing as real life. Every now and again you need to go through your inventory, decide what you really don't need anymore and sell it off or trash it.
