I think this game isn't worth the same subscription fee but I do think 2.0 will. The thread that suggest the fee of 6-7 bucks a month makes a really good point.

My plan is to pay on the month 1.21, 1.22, 1.23, etc... is released so that this way i can experience the changes and play around with them, but I doubt it'll be enough content to keep me around for the 2-3 months in between each patch.

I think they should wait until 1.21 to start charging, depending on how they do the job system I think the more traditional party content mixed with the hunt for AF armor will motivate a lot of people to get to 50 and slap materia on they're gear.

I agree with a lot of these complains though the content is still too grind heavy, and the lack luster mid game content and lack of intrigue of future skills really doesn't motivate people to get to mid level, let alone get all the way to max level so they can experience a few weeks of end game content pending the long waits to find a party or get in a link shell...

so frigging true. people waited like 5 years for 3rd classes in Ragnarok. and im not even sure they are there yet as of now lol... they also changed the entire mechanics of a 10 year old game just so they could fit these new classes in. so its been done before and worked it can work here
it happens mmo's takes the original experience and adds new things in magic things called patches. its an ok system keeps you interested and excited.

the only thing here tho is right now in this point of time should actually be last year [ if you know what i mean]
that's a shame and all but get on with it and enjoy whats coming.
