Possible future glamoire options, making some of the clothing cross class clothing

So I will either do some concepts up in the style of the art books to show off the ideas but one thing I have noticed is that some of the possible glamors I would have preferred to use look right but are looked to one class or another. Likely to prevent people from taking gear that they do not need and more importantly to prevent the dilution of the iconic class styles.

That said I have several pieces of gear that are one style or other that when combined with other pieces look like they might fit inside the style of the job. So my thought is maybe have the requirement that you have to be able to use the gear in it's own job and then have it bind to closet hanger. So you go in your room and to one side is a mirror and beside it a discipline of All, a a discipline of War, a discipline of Magic, and a discipline of the Land, or maybe just a fitting room with war and magic on one side and land and all on the other with the mirror facing the door.

This way you can try on any gear with each other and submit it as a possible upgraded piece of gear to what you have on. kinda like how you can choose what stats to add to the atma gear.
Only in this cast you would be creating new gear that you can use from another job and applying to the current job.

Kinda like when you learn wiring in one job and say you become a jeweler the skill in twisting and bending wires for outlets and pulling through walls then is used to twist and bend them around stones, creating earring and necklaces, then further taken into haberdashery wear your take the skill of bending and twisting wire into making ornamental dagging and embroidery. Yes I made Renaissance clothing for a while, spent more time being a cloth horse some female designers, but the idea is take the skills you learn one place can be used in other places, so making some of the clothing cross class like some of the skills is intriguing to me... mostly because I have character with some of the nobility pieces that he can wear in one job and other pieces he can wear in other jobs... So it is gear I have earned as quest rewards or loot drops, that I can wear just not at the same time.

The honorable - dishonorable Onion Knight Dark Knight always seemed to look like different colored equipment with different skills.. but still a warrior of some kind.
The gear could also fit the Viking and Samurai pure melee as well as the Seifer archtypes... like the paladin from the old games, the blade and magic types...

White mage or healer job... the clothes were different the black mage always seemed to hide his face in bulky robes while the white mage seemed simple eloquence.
