    Mana Points versus Magic Points.

    I've been in a heated debate about this over the past couple of weeks with my linkshell mates. As far as I'm concerned MP has always meant Mana Points. So I took it upon myself to scour the guides and the guide the game came with.... And I couldn't find anywhere whether it is Magic or Mana! I would love to know directly from you guys. Thanks!

    It's entirely like that it's not meant to mean either, and has just been an accepted standard for what to call your spell resources, and wasn't picked specifically to mean one or the other.

    Theoretically, in this game it could arguably be AP - Aether Points - as that seems to be the magical energy permeating the world.

    But that would just confuse people.

    I'll hunt about and see if I can find any references to Mana if no one else pops up any info first...

    I was thinking Mana, Since the new materia are referred to as Manaflight and Manathirst, etc. But beyond this i can't find any other evidence. Thank you guys for your input btw!
