But it is the same hat
Just another colored feather.
It could turn into a bikini if a female wear it.
i'm for 2 gender gear models in one gear
like the coatee set
a male version and a female version without a gender-lock

I am also annoyed by the fact that female characters get way more glamour options than male characters. However, with all the feminine gear I wore leveling to 60, especially on mage jobs, I'm frankly tired of wearing dresses and skirts. Female characters can keep their gear. Just give me more masculine glamours for my Hyur!
Missed this somehow. You felt the need to explain that you're not for gender locks, even though I never implied you were on either side of the matter. I only reexplained my point multiple times because you kept missing my point.
Unless being sarcastic is the same being defensive now? Must have missed that memo.
Yes, I am aware that same-sex couples exist. However in video game land that's only an option. Playing opposite sex characters is as simple as clicking a different button. In this game, males come with male gear and females come with female gear. Choose what's most important to you accordingly.
Again, the color of the tiny ribbon on the hat? And why force this to be about LGBT issues when it's equally annoying for everyone?

i am curious as to all the people "requesting" this thread be locked (as if that will stop people from complaining. they are essentially asking a moderator to close this thread to stop people from expression there opinions.

I just find it amusing that you just know some that are complaining in this thread are also some of the people who make noise about getting the male vanu dance and vice versa.
Well I can agree with it being rediculous that a hat has to be gender locked, but by now I'm kinda used to bad, how shoud I call it... cusomer service when it comes to pretty much everything anyways.
I would lie if I said I never pressed the "Try on" button on a dress before and was a little disappointed when it didn't work, even though I wouldn't actually stuff my characters into dresses permanently so it doesn't actually affect me. But I really want the bunny ears so I can understand you.
I'm just prepared to be disappointed by now and in that way I'll be really happy if something actually pleases me.
This sounds a lot more negative than I had planned.
Aaah I kinda regrett posting a comment. What the f*ck am I doing. There is no good discussion to be had here anyway.

This has literally nothing to do with the countless other times myself and others have asked for equal glamouring and such.
Usually we ask for things when we don't have it and they don't seem like "gendered items anyway, (Bunny Ears) or if its skewed to one gender (Females having more pieces available in Gold Saucer)
But with these Hat's...there are two hats, both locked to a single gender, this is entirely fair, and it's not the first time feathers/hair ornament have been changed between gender (some of the circlets have different feather/gem arrangements between genders)
People are only asking for this topic to be locked due to the toxicity it caused when issues that have NO relevancy to the topic are brought up, in several posts the word "LGBT" was bought up (even in the OP of all things >.>) for no apparent reason, it wasn't even a question of these things until people pulled it into the topic.

I understand why having less glam for guy characters is frustrating. I think there should be some things locked to each sex, but that there be a comparable amount for both sexes. I def think skewing it to where girls have more options is lame.
But what does that have to do with being LGBT or whatever? I'm sure both straight people and LGBT people find this annoying. Why bring this up at all?
