Right now, it’s not a solid rotation D: but it starts as

    Comfort Zone
    Inner Quiet
    Steady hand
    (depending on the durability type)
    Hasty touch

If I get a good, I use Tricks of the Trade
If I get an excellent, I use precise touch.
And from there, I kind of wing it if I need to do more by using Masters Mend.

You’re right though, I sometimes have trouble maintaining Steady Hand.

Rotation isn't really so important as long as you know the why for things. That's why I asked. You should be pushing your process to finish in one snyth before you start on the HQ stuff. Really, the important thing is getting inner quiet stacks up as high as you can go while still having the CP to use the finisher. Don't use goods completely for TotT. Precise Touch gives 2 stacks of inner. The finisher takes around 74 CP without the SH2 so you're looking at around 100 CP if you have to refresh it. When you start getting close to that, see how many stacks you have. You want to strive for 7 stacks or above, if you can. The finishing steps are: SH2 (if it'll fall off in the next 3 turns), Great Strides, Inno, BBlessing. You can totally get from 15% HQ to 100% HQ with 7+ inner stacks plus the finishing moves. If a good comes up and you haven't used GS first, then use TotT for that. Goods will give you 1.5 x the quality while GS gives you double so GS is always better than good. If a Good pops up before Inno but after GS, then use the BBlessing. Excellent should be used when it comes up (if you're at the end of your process.)

Then you finish with that one snyth and you're done.

when you use a stone soup which give you 17 CP more you can have a touch even more (you can buy it for 35 gil in east thalalan from a npc)

the best crafter has not the best stats just know how to use them

Important: is a 100% rotation so it can be used as a macro and it will never ever fail! ^^

as a general rule is more InnerQ stacks more control you have have.
When you do this rotation you can open your Character info and watch how your control ammout increase with every stack of your IQ and as finish when you reach the max control with your CP posible, you do Great Strikes which double your currently control which may already over 1,5 k with a few stack of IQ and you do Blessing which add also a bonus, so you insert around as a last step a touch with may 200%+ with 3k+ control which push so much HQ inside you wont belive your eyes
just a small explain how crafting work

    regards small hobbit =)

Screw rotations. You want a macro set.

I have been using the set here since 2.5something. It requires 392 Craftsmanship, 375 Control, 381 CP. This ment fully melded back then. it works with 40 and 80 durability stuff.

There's no way that would work with Masterbook II, unless I'm missing something.

    I agree...
    It was an old macro
Which work for a specific amount of craftmanship, control and CP
And will not work on this particuliar 3 star craft
