The author was actually a hardcore player who got addicted to FFXI, he eventually got out of it and used his experiences as part of the story. If you read the original manga, he actually warns people of gaming addiction through various shorts.
I don't think this is accurate at all, in a normal Duty Finder nobody would talk to each other, and if the party wiped or was bad people would DC or end duty.
In America that would be the case. Probably will be titled, Booze and Bangs. JP is a whole different matter.
Oh, I wasn't aware of NHK, if it's on same kind of boat I'm sure I'd be interested. I'll search it up.
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! aka God's blessing on this wonderful world! is the full title if anyone was confused by me giving the 'short title' (sorry, bad habit since I picked up watching KareKano years ago since that was also a mouthful).
As far as if still having trouble finding it and if are actually wanting to, depending on country you are in there are many streaming sites, if USA, crunchyroll appears to be popular.
It is an emotional roller coaster.
It's about an hikikomori NEET (a shut in with no job). The title is sort of a pun, the NHK is a broadcasting company in Japan but that's not.....what they're talking about here.
(In the show it's the Nihon Hikikomori Kyoukai, aka the Japanese Hikikomori Association). It didn't air on the NHK but it sure would've been funny if it did..............
Man I am so glad this "trapped in a video game" thing is only exploding over in Japan. I write a series of novels with that premise as part of their main plot, and if I had 70 gorillion other stories doing the same thing alongside me I'd have probably given up on it long ago.
It's kinda funny - whenever I tell someone who isn't into anime about it they go "Wow that's so original!" but if I tell someone who is I get "Oh god another SOA/Log Horizon/etc." Which to be honest, is kiiiinda fair, but not entirely.
