So I got watching this anime Konosuba... and while there are many "stuck in a game" shows, this one is the closest to my personal ffxiv experience and makes me laugh.
It's about a party of 4 members seemingly thrown together by duty finder:
Rogue (team leader): He can't figure out how to get his advanced class (ninja?) and has no basic skill at the game. Sadly, he is still more capable than the people with the advanced jobs in his party that he gets randomly saddled with. His one only saving grace is a very high +luck skill. Trainer NPC suggested he take up crafting instead of trying to dps since his luck would be better suited at that and wouldn't help him at all with dps. Maybe it was bad luck and not good luck he has...
White Mage: She hates healing and only bothers to train the cool looking utility spells. It's gotten so bad the rogue is trying to cross class heal because she won't do it. She'd much rather look cool by dpsing. She frequently gets one shot since she pulls aggro or stands in dangerous spots. Why she chose to be a healer was mostly cause it was a prestigious job and she wanted to be impressive.
Black Mage: Actually can dps and has good gear but refuses to single target anything and only will use flare which often fails to kill single targets despite being a massive attack. After she uses flare, all her mana is gone and she can't figure out how to use convert (because she refuses to train other abilities, cause "Don't tell me how to play, I play the way I want!") so she just stands there useless.
Tank (Probably intended to be a Dark Knight since her name on show is "Darkness" and uses a claymore): Tank has very low accuracy and dps ability since she is completely focused on taking damage only. She can't keep hate at all since she can't hit her targets most of time nor does she do any kind of threat/provoke ability when loses hate. If there is some big AOE spell that she should avoid, she stands in it, on purpose, cause... she thinks that is her job and makes her look more noble/heroic. Apparently she is also into RP too and is more interested in acting out being a noble knight than actually doing her role.
I'm not making this up. This is literally the four main characters. :x I don't usually like to mention anime to strangers but the similarities to this game made me want to share. :x
I think the creator of the show plays this game? Anyway I guess I'd be the incapable one who'd be better off crafting if anyone wonders which one I'd be...
I don't write this in bad humor. I giggled at all the similarities to my experiences...
