I love how so many are behaving as if this was a mandatory feature. Just like one wasn't forced to use the auto-group feature in XI, you aren't being forced into using the content finder. You will still be able to get people together from your own world and do events, just like you have been. People really need to get a grip and stop acting like such damned drama queens.

The only drama I read on this entire post was from you sounding upset.

Yes you don't have to use the dungeon finder, and when it was first introduced into wow, people said the exact same thing on their forums.

Just how many people do you think don't use it now?

I get that not all people have tons of time to spend playing games. They want instant gratification. And I"m not saying dungeon finder is the devil. I just hope it doesn't ruin the single greatest aspect I was hoping to find when ffxiv was released, the one thing I missed about xi, the close knit community.
