Landscapes I would like to see in future.

Like in FFXI they had the Zi'tah forest and other nice locations, I would love to see something just stand out.

    Maybe something spooky

    Or a whole forest

maybe a destroyed city that was lost

    maybe under water city idk

We always talk about glamour, skills and other stuff I just thought this would be a change.

Also the ship grave yard from final fantasy tactics was awesome.

Many of those areas are already in the game - you just have to go looking for them (Ship Graveyard is part of the Isles of Umbra in Western La Noscea, the Black Shroud is Eorzea's main forested region, although it was more denser in 1.0, ruins of ancient or more recent cities are found throughout every region in the game and even some dungeons are specifically ruins like Ampdapor Keep.).

Open your eyes and expand your horizons, and you may find things you never expected out there.

Its not true at all, I am talking whole area's here.

There is no underwater city you could explore, Where is the whole forest, not talking about patches of land inbetween either.

Ruined cities no that's just bits and pieces, I am talking full blown big city you can go into like say Uldah and its torn to pieces and broken and spooky.

Like lands that have fog and grave yards and ghost and zombies.
I opened my eyes, I see just the same thing, the only place I think that stands out from all of them is actually falcons nest and Az and clouds.

I would love to see a whole forest area with huge trees or a whole landscape of fog and death.

What you are talking about is background stuff you cannot explore, some of the stuff you also mentioned is parts could be tiny trees here and there and then a whole landscape and then rocks and shrub that's not what I meant.

I would sooooo buy the underwater city. I wish we could swim and dive and explore. I miss that.

Also something spooky, a gloomy forest, or a graveyard. We need fog over graves, I agree!

Yes and have spooky music in the area with howling wolves.

Maybe if you get to gravestones zombies hands pop out of the ground for effects just a cursed area, with ghost flying around and undead monsters of the past game or people who died in the past game from the calamity.

like that forest in FF9 would be perfect just a whole huge landscape things like that.

I'm waiting for the volcanic area with ash, lava and bombs.

I know we have some arenas like that (Such as the Titan fight), but I'm thinking an actual area, not a battle arena. Think Ifrit's cauldron in FFXI.

There's an area like this in the dravanian forelands.

Oh a ship grave yard would be neat. There was something similar in FF11 in the Aht Urgan expansion. I don't remember the name of the area itself but it was a few scattered rocky islands/caves that were connected by old ship wrecks. It was where the Lamia lived and there were undead all over the place. There was even a 'hunt' that would spawn on top of you if you died (much to the distress of your party!). And yes, there was fog, lots of fog.

FFXIV has some of the most beautiful settings I've seen in MMOs, so of course I would love to see the FFXIV team's take on more settings, but it's also not like what we have is lacking in any way at all. If anything, I just wish there was more open world content so I could better enjoy what we already have.
