In the thread about how the Echidna minion is too rare, people said it should be like with CT2 and WoD where you only have to worry about actually getting into the content and winning rolls against 23 other people now, instead of waiting for hours and then hope for that like 1% chance that it drops xD

dunno but some friends just told me this in game too. And apparently it isn't 100% for 24 for 100% for each party

In patch 3.1 they moved it to the treasure coffer instead of a chest. This is the same reason we get the crafting items doing undersized runs of extreme primals too. Every time I have run ST and WoD the minion has dropped, I think it is 100% drop rate.

Solutions:

1: Add a roulette for 24-man content.

2: Reduce CT raids to 12-man (3x light party). Scale down accordingly.

On FFXIV Reddit, there has been a movement to make Sunday the unofficial day to run CT. Might want to try it out this weekend.

I got a pop here a couple weeks ago. I think it starts at around 5pm EST.

Yep, Sunday CT runs works fine (at least on Phoenix). I do it every Sunday evening via DF. Takes about 40-60 min in queue.

That said I still feel older raids need new life breathed into them. I want to run Syrcus for a full Scylla set...but I've waited 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours at night 4 days in a row and can't get a single queue in. That's a problem.

Here on Sargatanas there have been a few LotA/ST/WoD groups set up via df skirting the edges of peak times. They pre-build an alliance to run all 3 and it seems to take them very little time to do so.

Have you tried that on your server? Never know it may work
