Impossible to join 24-person Raids/Dungeons

So a friend and I have come to a complete half in the end game raid missions. The problem is we can never find enough people via the duty finder. We were stuck at the Labyrinth of the Ancients quest for a ridiculous amount of time. Collectively we spent over 12 hours (HALF A DAY!) sitting in the duty finder waiting to connect. And don’t get me wrong, we didn’t half-assed it either; I’ve personally waited over 3 hours before, and when I am with my friend we generally wait 1-2 ½ hours. Luckily, to our surprise, and an absurd amount of time later, we finally were able to do it but not without the help of shouting people in populated areas. BUT NOW we are stuck at Syrcus Tower and are finding even less people. All we want to do is get past this to play the raids that people without Heavensward are playing.

I queued up for Syrcus Tower a few days ago because I heard the minion now drops 100%.
After over 8 hours, I went to feed my cat for a minute. When I returned, I had missed it popping up.

I'm queued up for Syrcus right now. All languages selected. Been in for over an hour and have 2/3, 2/6, 9/15. This is my third try today and having a lot better luck right now, but it's still going to take a while longer if it does happen. Hop in it now and see if you get in?

While you propably understand this, I'm sad to say the 50 stuff is not end game content for majority of people anymore. There might be glimmer of hope though. This weekend I spotted a shout that called people for organised Sunday crystal trinity runs. The shout also mentioned a reddit thread for more info. I sadly don't have the link at hand but it might be worth googling it up. Apparently there is an amount of people who are trying to take an organised approach to this now.

Thanks for the info. If I can't get a hold of that info or if I am unavailable, do you think if I were to try to organize this myself reddit would be the go to or is there a specific forum for FF that would be the smartest move?

I'm not reddit user myself so I have no idea. For starters though, start asking in shouts in some suitable areas of the game, and make a linkshell for it. I mean, you said you had asked in shouts but that was for more or less immediate run. Instead try to organise future run. It is a lot of work but if you can establish a linkshell with like minded people that should ease the hurdle later on. Maybe toss a thread here too.

A Roulette for CT would fix this. They have a Main Scenario Roulette that only has two dungeons in it, so why not a Crystal Tower Roulette for the 3?Have it give the same amount of exp as Main Scenario would at the end, since, as far as I know, monsters in CT don't give exp. Not only that, but the same could go for a Coil Roulette. Would be a little bit harder, so why not make the rewards just as satisfying?

On FFXIV Reddit, there has been a movement to make Sunday the unofficial day to run CT. Might want to try it out this weekend.
