Hildibrand Season 2 officially begins in 3.2. Prepare for more Gilgamesh, Enkidu, Hildibrand, Nashu, and Angry Briardien.

On the one hand its fun to see Briardien have to deal with him, though he did resign himself to just going along with it by the end of it last time...plus a part of me thought the WoL. when asked to be discreet in the investigiation, should have asked whether he's seen Hildy yet. Lot easier to be so without him after all.

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind Hildy and Briardien having their own seperate things...plus that means even MORE content to do! But it'll probably be Hildy in the current one, easier on devs and stuff.

Yay, I guess...

I mean, the quests were fun, but at this point I kind of want some more "serious" side quest stuff... Mail Mog needs a season 2, Winebaud's Riddles could provide a great questline, or even better we could get new Grand Company ranks with an actual story attached to them? I'd love something like that. Heck, even the Doman Adventurer's Guild could do with more sidequests... There's a lot of potential side quest material which just isn't getting used, instead we get hilarious face contortions I guess? Looking forward to it regardless, but I'd still rather have seen some of the other side quest potential fulfilled in 3.0 and then had Hildy return for 4.0. Back to back Hildibrand runs the risk of becoming stale, eventually he is going to need a significant break to build anticipation...

we have waited long enough the people need more hildibrand and his wacky antics and we mustn't forget godbert and his nakedness lol!.If i remember correctly there was a quest involving sherlock holmes hildibrands rival maybe we'll see him paired with hildy?

Uh. What exactly do you think the long break between the last Hildibrand patch and this one was? Have no earthly clue what you think "back to back" means in this context unless you somehow consider it and the scholasticate quests the same thing.

I wouldn't really call it a 'long break'. At least not in terms of raw content. The Scholasticate quests were advertised as a 'more serious' set of side quests only for Hildibrand's influence to show up there as well.
