Warrior of Light totally ignored

Upon entering Matoya's cave for the first time, there was this nice round of introductions. Y'shtola, Alphinaud and Matoya herself - heck, even the brooms and toads got mentioned eventually. But there was never any kind of introduction of the warrior of light himself. What? We are the main character, and no one even thought of explaining to Matoya who we were, nor did she ask. We just stood there in the background, looking at the others being polite to each other.

I felt really bummed by that.

To be fair though she did spend the last few decades confined to a cave in the middle of Dravania with only a bunch of sentient anthropomorphic frogs and animated talking brooms for company... you have to forgive the poor woman for being somewhat behind in the latest news in Eorzea.

Besides, she thought Alphinaud was his sister, not even noticing the Warrior of Light might have just been down to poor eyesight on her part.

Well, in her Defence, Alphinode does dress pretty femenen. If it wasn't for his voice he could easily pass for his sister 9 times out of ten.

Also love how Krile and Y'shtola tease him in 3.1's MSQ.
