Guess there's no solution to this?
And here we go again. Getting the same error over and over. Guess unable to start and crashing on start are not considered problems since this post has been written a while ago with the error I am getting. URL from error reflects today's date.

I just asked where the new version was purchased for mac as it is not in the store, are you using that? .Where you bought ?.
If you install the first version available for mac and try to upload it , the game will ask you to download a newer version of the installer before you can proceed with the update. This answer doesn't resolve the problem I am having tho. For future references use your own technical support on the topic you are looking for.
For example like now:
FFXIV Launcher
A system error has occurred: -21.

Hello Reih,
It may be possible that you encounter this error when your network changes.
We don’t know what your exact network setup and configurations are, but we can suggest the following actions that may help.
1. If you are using both wired and wireless connections, it may help to use only one connection.
2. If you are on a DHCP, it may help to switch to a static IP.
3. If you are using a proxy server, it may help to disable it.
Caution: By changing ANY network settings, you can introduce security risks. We recommend that you evaluate the risks within your own environment before making any changes.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused for you. If you are still experiencing an issue after trying the method above, please contact our support center at support.na.square-enix.com for further assistance.
Thank you for the reply Qeepel. It is strange since I only use one way to connect to the internet through this computer. I'll open a ticket and see if there's something else that can be done.
Hi there Reih,
