Right? I picked up the VIT gear to use on my healer in PVP. xD
Exactly this. Esoterics will be our new uncapped currency. This isn't a huge deal at all.But even so, they can still get the stuff they need, just like new players, by farming for a couple hours.
Wasn't there a sad twonk who posted this type of thread in General Discussion....is this a conspiracy theory between two whiners who want SE to hand out free gear for nothing?![]()
Luckily for me i'd only purchased helm, chest and arms, I feel the pain of strength tanks tho.
My understanding of the patch is that damage is going to scale on vit not str, surely adding vit not str acc will make all the difference moving forwards? or am I missing something.
Mine is that it will scale on VIT and STR, with STR at a lower impact.
It's not like you'll go from "full DPS" to "you're as low as if you were wearing INT accessories"
I think they keep Strength only to make the transition smooth, since, once you chose VIT accessories, you could technically drop STR altogether.
I think the important question is how much of a difference is there between the damage scale for vit, and the damage scale for strength, time will tell I guess. As you say at least str isn't completely obsolete, but it could be a slight setback for some of the strength heavy tanks.Mine is that it will scale on VIT and STR, with STR at a lower impact.
