Pet System Suggestion. (Minions)

First of all, I want to really congratulate Enix for a very wonderful game. I love all the aspects of the game. I just started this game and I'm hooked. There's one problem Im sad and thats the housing part. Anyway, please don't flame me as I just wanna share my thoughts on the pet system.

Pets(Minions), yes we have it here but what's the use of those pets when useless in battles? Theyre for design only? You can't raise them or feed them to level up and evolve? I know this is not a monster type game but, this game has lots of potentials that can beat other MMOs. I wanna suggest, can we make pets fight during battle with specific skills? I am fully aware of the classes like summoners but I'm suggesting that pets should have certain skills on their own. Let's make use of them aside from being displayed.

Feed them, let them evolve into mature form.

It's called Lord of Vermillion and can be found on the lower floor of the Gold Saucer
Every pet has it's own unique stats and skill and weaknesses. You can pit them against other players' pets or play through challenges the game gives you. Have fun !^^

If you meant that they should fight alongside you in normal combat - SE already stated that won't happen. That's what actual pet classes are for.

Thanks for the quick response. Well, they could have made summoner classes to have their own pet skills aside from the pets having their own like passive ablities.

I'd greatly suggest playing the class fully/understanding it fully before trying to suggest any changes for it.

My Egis all have 4 skills, fairies too. Even carby has 4 I think?
If you set your pet on obey, you can even personally control 3 of them.

All the summoner egis have their own unique ultimate ability, based on the primal's ability. You can use it by using the enkindle skill. They also have their 4 abilities, even the scholar fairies. The fairies don't have an ultimate ability, though, unless you count dissipate, but that's you basically sacrificing the fairy for aetherflow stacks and a healing buff.
