I was thinking about that, to be able to post a picture of the spec with a link on it.

Awesome, as I would love to be able to post Character builds to help members take on specific things like Ifrit, or Darkhold. This would make it so easy =)

I thought about linking specs on forum and stuff. There is already a solution how you can do it:
When you go to the user page where the spec is you can get a big picture of the spec by clicking on the small preview pic.
You can just copy paste the url of the big pic in a forum (this will update when you change your spec).

This is just a quick solution for now on how you can do it, now to link a spec with all the skill info will be a little more difficult to do. Still thinking what would be the best solution but im working on it! (open to suggestions =))
