Glad to hear!Er-mah-gawd. I just flipped to Tonberry... Q_Q There are so many english speaking people. And the server is way more populated than carbuncle. I got invited to my first FC... and wow. I can speak/understand people. And there are sooo-ooo many people free roaming. I feel like I'm playing a new game. Q_Q

I don't mean to be rude of course, but I feel obliged to say it's a little odd you're playing a social game if you don't like being social.
Glad that worked out! What made you pick a japanese server anyway?Er-mah-gawd. I just flipped to Tonberry... Q_Q There are so many english speaking people. It's sort of a combination of a few friends wanted to play and how I love FF. I don't usually play MMOs, actually.
I'm not crazy enough though to say "I wish I could do everything by myself in this MMO" because that'd be silly; it is a multiplayer game after all.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME

They do but not all of it. Retainers can hold up to 100k gil. Thus the gil transfer limit all together is 1.6M(if you have 6 retainers). There's a limit on gil that you can transfer over. Most people will purchase items off the MB to sell on the new server to make their money back or buy the Allegan pieces on the MB so you can sell back to an NPC and make your cash back that way. I don't know if your retainers keep your gil on them when you transfer (I'm almost sure they don't) but I know you won't lose any items.
If you try to transfer over with more than what they can carry, the system will reject you.

Hard = Better Gold Chest Rate (a lot of silvers at worst) but stronger mobs. Mostly something you want to do if you're hunting specifically i210 and Spoils isn't much of a concern
Normal = So-So Gold Chest Rate, a lot more squishier mobs then Hard. This is good for farming spoils and getting a i210 here and there for your troubles. This is where you go for Pegasus Points and Materia.
Easy = Not likely to see Gold Chests, very easy mobs. This can be a zone for "Pegasus Points" and Materia as well, but it is more commonly populated with gatherers, so it's become more so dubbed "The Gatherer's Diadem." Being that mobs aren't as much of a concern as the other zones.
That's the way to think of it when you're doing Diadem.
... As for playing a social game and not being social, this game hardly requires you to be social, being in an FC or LS is fluff. I'm a PUG-Thug myself, and sure while I may not do Alex Savage, most of the content I want to do I can do by myself. I also happen to run with LBR people and the LBRmy on Sargatanas so that's nice, but for the most part I keep to myself. This game isn't like 11 where friends were a necessity or you got nothing done. Which frankly I think is a shame that FC's and friends are not more necessary.
