    do people still gather in DF?

    if i want to farm gears in diadem, is DF now a good option or there's always some guys that goes fishing as soon as they can fly leaving the party short handed for getting chests?

    i started using PF for my farming parties months ago but it's slow on weekdays so i wonder if DF is a good option. seeing the 30m+ queue, i dont want to enter a fisher party.

    If someone asks for help downing something then sure I'll help but I find no fun in zerging "Dino Island" for 90 minutes.

    I've been just finding a FC buddy and going in Diadem Easy when I want to gather. Even with only two its trivial to unlock flight, in easy mode -- bring a tank and smn. Then gather away without annoying combat classes.

    fishing pterodactyls for 90 minutes is so much funnier, anyway thanks for the heads up, it's still PF for gears farming. wish it was the other way around though, i mean you dont need a full party of 8 to gather, just one friend and a personal airship and you're ready to go, no 30+ minutes queue to get 7 people yell at you because you want to gather, would'nt it be better?

Sometimes I do more than gather, like look for chests, or just fly around. Not to mention, it's doable but a bit difficult to get all the flying points with just two people.
    It can also be a lot of fun, going into DF then having everyone gather. Giant DF gathering parties are very fun. I of course use PF from time to time to set up full gathering parties.

    They just need to adjust some stuff in Diadem. The gear wasn't the best choice...in my opinion, but hey. I guess just exploration for the sake of exploration isn't enough of a draw to anyone, gotta have top tier gear.

    how many runs do you need to explore exactly? it's not like it's a different zone every time, after 2 or 3 runs flying around or looking for buried chests becomes pointless, the only thing to do is farm gears (yea great gears are rare but you still get spoils for lame gears, and anyone who craft knows how valuable those are) and gather diadem exclusive items, exploration is only true the first time when you have to map the area and see what there is to do, after 90 minutes you quickly realize that the exploration part is done forever

    And no map initially, just fills in every time you do it. But of course, that's difficult and we can't have that...
    I also think gathering can be fun when I'm not fishing in a few spots... I'm one of those who think that it was an all right decision to not have Sneak work in the instance at all. (It can be frustrating of course.) It adds some exhilaration, thrills. If you're lucky, it can even encourage teamwork. ("Keep that mob occupied while I gather this rock, then we can go and kill that thing over there.")

    Either way the only real way to guarantee you get a party you want (be it gathering or gearing) is to use the PF. Same with dungeon runs, etc.
    Most gear parties I've been to just sit and zerg on 'Dino Island', watching meteors fall between mobs.

    I'd still leave the random chests from gatherers and even their ability to pop a V or star rank and other such mechanics.
