    It's in the 2.0 preview. Because the new graphics engine may make our character look different than before in a way that we might not like, they're letting us recreate our characters when 2.0 hits.

    Looked it up, specifically it's page 8 of the 2.0 outline, in the Rebuild: Graphics section.

    Scroll down to the second slide that says Rebuild:Graphics Engine. It's written there, clear as day. The bottom of the slide says
    The new graphics engine will cause certain objects to display differently than they do in the current version.
    Because of this, we will allow all current players the opportunity to re-customize the race, gender, and
    appearance of their characters upon the implementation of the new engine.
