any chance of Sky/Sea type areas?

i have fond memories of the sky and sea areas from FF11 and the theme park type setting full of NM's appeals to me

all the current content seems fast paced (which isnt a bad thing)

its just that i also enjoyed the slower pace and negotiating which nm we should go kill next etc

Sky inparticular was very fun for me

hopefully we see something like this in the future!

They taking idea from WoW and other western game why the hell not from FFXI? sky and cop was the best thing about ffxi.

I quit in 2009 E3 when they show FFXIV why would i play FFXI if there a new game coming out + i dislike Abyssea and good thing i quit. Don't talk like you know a person when you don't no need to be rude -.-

When I exit my dungeon I expect loot bags of 5 materia IV slot kraken clubs and relic weapons just for participating. This way even if we wipe we still get something out of it. No time wasted! All future content of every MMO should be like this.

It's a well known fact most people consider CoP the best expansion to FFXI for 2 reasons:

1. Storyline was as classic FF as you can get.
2. Challenge.

Yes, before people cried about difficulty CoP offered a lot of challenge (Ouryu, Bahamut, One to be Feared, Proto-Ultima, Jailer of Love and Temperance.)

The only thing Abyssea offered?

1. Gear handouts
2. Ability to level from 30 - 95 in hours depending on efficiency.

The storyline was decent (it was about gear handouts mainly), but it offered really nothing. Shinryu was a good challenge, but that was a bout it.

You've got some problems Bearforce... calm down; seriously. And yes FF11 was an amazing game. It had many aspects of the game that made it incredibly fun despite abyssea. What your doing is focusing on 1 negative which apparently out weighs all the positive in your book. Tisk tisk tisk

And yes there are a few great things about WoW, Aion, FF11, Monster Hunter, Many other MMO that should be implemented in FF14. Why not? It will only make it better~

It baffles me why a small minority burst sand forth from their lady parts at the mere mention of bringing ideas from XI to XIV, and yet XI was easily the best MMO I have ever played, period.

Some people really need to relax about 120 points.
