I see thm based on the story more like the jedi of ffxiv. They are constantly trying to find balance between light and dark, astral and umbral, good and evil.

...and CON handles the other 6 elements in this universe.

The only major distinction (as of 1.19) that we have is that THM has the best buffs/debuffs (akin to SMN/RDM), and CON has the best nukes/heals/raises (Akin to BLM and WHM).

try using shadowsear, now, after 1.19. and conj has the best buffs.
