When will we get info on class changes?

Yoshida stated that we'd get info on class changes "shortly" after 1.19 as player feedback was to be a big part of their decisions.

If major class changes are to arrive in tandem with jobs in 1.20, aren't we cutting it a little close for player feedback to matter?

If what Yoshida himself said is correct, then two weeks is needed for Quality Assurance and debugging. So the coding for an early December patch needs to be done in about four weeks. It sounds like a lot of time but along with everything else in 1.20, it isn't.

Is player feedback going to just be an illusory gimmick or will it be given in time to actually matter?

uf..jobs aren't in 1.20 but ----->1.21<------, which is scheduled for january/february

Actually a few months ago they said that they would post a list of the class changes around the time 1.19 went live so they could get our feedback for them in 1.20. I hope they still plan to do that. If so we should be getting it any day now.

You're correct. I was mistaken in that aspect. But it is correct that Yoshida said class revisions will occur in 1.20 with the list of changes coming shortly after 1.19 release as they wanted player feedback.

Still nothing? Such an important change, that could completely devaluate a player's invested time, for which the information was promised soon after 1.19 and it's starting to seem we'll read about it in the 1.20 patch notes.

Haha, yeah, I'm not really willing to take THM or CNJ much higher than 30 (thankfully CNJ still has a ways to go so I've got stuff to do) until I know what's going to be changing, as it'll affect which I take to 50 first. (Although, honestly, I'll probably wind up taking them both up there...)

Player feedback is not going to affect the big picture. We are here to give feedback about the details.

If they can't get it generally right without our help, this game simply isn't going to make it far, with or without 2.0.

When they said they wanted feedback they obviously didn't mean us .. /duh
