Mythical management over bard? Wildfire being needlessly complex should spell it out as for starters. Screw Wildfire up and machinist dps falls even more behind bard then it does already.

Your wildfires don't need to be perfect every time. There is room for error like there is on every other job in the game. I swear you'd think the complaints around this place are made by bleeding-edge raiders who aim for 100% optimal damage.
Needlessly complex? How do you screw up Wildfire? In fact there are no real special rules to WF besides to use your longer buffs first and to make sure you aren't reapplying hot/lead during it. I'm pretty sure if I was still 9 years old I'd be able to grasp this concept
at the end of 15 seconds it does part of the damage I did over 15 seconds, so I need to do as much damage as I can in that 15 seconds
It might be complex relative to other things in the game, but this game is mostly very simple. If that's needlessly complex or complex at all to you, this is not your game. I don't mean that to sound as harsh as it does but I mean come on, NIN Mudras must be rocket science to you. This is exactly what I was talking about when I used the word "diva"

Just gonna say that you don't have much room to be throwing punches.
As someone with ADHD and inability to adapt I personally cannot stand WM and my already sub-optimal DPS got even worse since this skill was added, it's all SE's fault. I can't even do DPS while moving and I can't move AT ALL with WM up and I'm just a turret. So boring and stupid, SE.
One, sorry about your ADHD, but if you can't adapt, that is your problem.
Two, it's not SE's job to look out for your ADHD. That's on you.
That's like me saying "take out all tanking in the game because I absolutely hate it and can't adapt to doing it".
...see how that sounds

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
I mean, that's kind of a false equivalence, though. It's not unreasonable to want a game to be more accessible in a way that isn't at anyone else's expense, like for instance having a higher-mobility class for people who prefer all of their difficulty not just coming from movement mechanics. That's not the same thing as taking an entire job out of the game.
I have ADHD myself (which limits my reaction times) and live in Australia (which means I have inescapably high latency) and those two factors together meant that 2.X BRD's playstyle was literally the only way I had of earning my clear on high-end content, which is now lost to me because SE decided they wanted to unnecessarily limit the scope of their game design. And even then I'd probably have struggled on with BRD if WM wasn't broken and inorganic from design theory all the way through to graphical output.
Sarcasm doesn't translate well to text, esp in consideration that some people may actually have adhd and can have trouble to play because of it. Otherwise i don't see the point of your post.

f SE turned barrage/emp into a charge up skill that depended on 14 seconds of before hand burst you would see an uproar at the nerf. I am not saying remove the mechanic fully but give players the chance to prematurely fire the wildfire blast off during fights with bosses going invuln before wildfire goes off.
Not sure what you achieve calling me a diva.

If a job that is miles away from needing a nerf got nerfed there would be an uproar? Got me there mane
You have to keep in mind I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you that MCH can/should have some changes done to make it less of a chore to play. I'm not trying to achieve anything really; the reason I say "diva" is because the vast majority of MCH players I run into that have complaints seem to think their job is the hardest thing ever and you gotta put in SOOOO much more effort than everyone else and still come out subpar in the end and blahblahblah it's really not very difficult to play or complicated.
Compared to BRD, it really is. Wildfire is so central to the job's DPS right now that if you botch a wildfire and end up with two mildfires you may as well resign yourself to the toilet the rest of the run. It's a lot more work than BRD for practically identical numbers.
Also, I know wildfire detonates through the invul on the Rubricatus in CM, does it work on any other bosses that don't jump to clear the debuff?
