Awareness is great for WARs, pop Raw Intuition + Awareness = don't need to worry above dmg from the sides/backFor GLA/PLD... mostly just Awareness, as it's recast is so high and mostly pointless - critical damage is usually quickly recovered from anyway so it's a moot point having a brief buff that guards against it.
Cover is also too fiddly for me, although I do have it macroed half the time I forget it's even there.

Dissapation is good in extreme aoe healing situations, like thordan ex if your group doesn't push before final add...prep those aoe heals!
As for me, I play DRG60 mostly and I literally use every skill, and even feint, although much less commonly. In fact I can't think of any skill on any of my lv60 jobs that I never use.
@TheUltimateSeth us you are way under valuing those skills. Elusive is almost always on cool down for me, Keen flurry blocks ANY aoe that is physical, and there are TONS of then out there, and feint I personally use situationally if I find myself tanking something that's hard hitting + KEEN FLURRY LOL DRG TANK YAAA!!!

Yeah I figured they had their situational uses. Though to be honest I didn't even think of pvp since I never do it. I think the most difficult content I have actually played so far with any interest would be A4N. Gave Bismarck EX a shot in DF, was fun but not even close to a clear lol. Elusive jump ends up screwing me over more times then it saves me though and I have to dodge mechanics on other classes without it so I eventually just let it rot.
Though I'm curious about what you said Ashkendor. Is that just to get closer to the boss quicker to start dpsing or something else?
Wow I didn't know that about Keen Flurry and the aoes. That's pretty awesome! I mean I can usually dodge them anyway (most of the time) but that could definitely help out. I could experiment with using that instead of dodging aoes so I can keep my dps up more maybe? xD

It's to get to the boss quicker. I hate it though since you have to start the fight off facing away from the boss so it can feel a little clunky.
The sum of all hunt arguments over early pullers: http://goo.gl/IFT9IE

Ah ok. Cool. Yeah it does feel clunky. Seems it would be easier if instead of jumping backwards it just jumped in the direction you are facing with your camera or something. Would make my life easier anyway.

Awareness synergizes well with Bulwark since you can't block crits. But yeah, I almost never use Cover outside raid.
Yup! Saves you a couple of seconds running up to the boss and you get to use all your jumps under your buffs.

Dissipation- beyond useless, only ever used it for pvp once and twice, disappointing heavensward skill
The Warden's Paean- has very few moments of use, cast a bit to long for it to be used midbattle, so another disappointing heavensward skill

Do not dare to do that, especially with BFB (UNLESS HEALER SAYS IT IS OKAY). What he meant was there are some unavoidable AoE attacks that are physical, like earth shaker in bahamut. In those situations you use keen flurryWow I didn't know that about Keen Flurry and the aoes. That's pretty awesome! One Ilm Punch (outside of PvP) is all but entirely worthless. It's up against two very good skills for that section of the combo, costs a ton of TP, does squat for damage, and almost nothing worthwhile can actually be punched off. The last boss I can recall it working on was the final boss of Haukke Manor (Hard)'s stoneskin effect. I mean, it works on the Attack Up from Whistle on those Dhalmel enemies in Neverreap too... for... what that's worth... which isn't anything.
In PvP it's great, but it could have just been a PvP-only skill.
If someone wins an argument, they have learned nothing.
FOR DOCKHAND!
Only time I ever used One-Ilm Punch was during those ixal fates in Coerthas that cast Stoneskin on their massive HP pool. One Ilm Punch (outside of PvP) is all but entirely worthless.
