    Bards and Machinists

I thought I would throw out my two cents worth. Everybody has their opinions and here is mine. Bards and Machinists are a roaming class and not a mage/caster class. Watch the movies Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, the tv show Arrow to see that archers shoot on the move and stand when they want to make a precision shot. There is probably a lot of examples to show for machinists. The point is fix the classes. We can talk till we are blue in the face on this its all up to Yoshi-P/Dev team/Square Enix to realize their screw ups. It is the same thing as putting out a parser unit for ps4 players if you let pc users have the luxury to have it we should also even if it is illegal. Enough said, like I said this is my opinion.

Honestly, if you're playing the jobs correctly they still have amazing mobility. The reason why you feel stuck? Because you're not playing the jobs to their full potential. Need to move? Drop your buff for a few seconds. The DPS loss is not massive and still a lot more than any other job can pull while mobile barring SMN. As a MCH main I never feel tied down or really subject to RNG - sure, it's there, but it's nothing something that affects my gameplay or really hinders it.

Another one? What was wrong with the big thread?
Also there's a bunch of "we,we,we" in there, it's fine if you feel that way and I certainly encourage people to speak out about what they dislike but don't assume all BRDs and MCHs think like you. Thanks.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.

Sigh. MCH is not a carbon copy of BRD with a gun, no matter how much people want it to be. I agree that BRD does have a mobility problem compared to MCH, but also has better TP management compared to MCH. If a MCH plays their toolkit properly there is next to no mobility problems (and if you haven't completely pissed of the RNG gods than mobility problems hit 0).

More procs and and wildfire are realistically the only big differences between the two jobs. The two share the most parallels to each other than any other job combination, down to having having at least two skills that are bfunctionally the same in even values, and for a new job, mch doesn't do very well to break off the mold or standard brd has already established.

I've grown quite fond of Wanderer's Minuet to the point where I don't like NOT having access to it, and that I'm close to going back to BRD main.

I've gotten used to it, to the point now where it pisses me off to do pre-52 content, where I lose it... its like I go through that jarring gameplay change every time I queue for something besides expert or void.

Machinist and bard are totally different minus basic utility.. Machinist is a proc/cooldown oriented job over the more dot heavy mechanics of the bard. You have to play the machinist 2-3 times better just to get the dps of the bard basically. It is over complicated for having weaker dps then the other top tier dps.
