Lag, Freezing, Packet Loss

For the past two months, starting around December, me and two friends who live in two separate locations, have been experiencing horrendous lag, freezing and packet loss. There have been times when any one of us would freeze for a good 10 seconds while doing fights. Abilities would not be used when pressed, boss abilities would not show warning signs until it was too late. At first it used to just happen everyone once in a while, and then it has gotten worse and worse to the point where it happens consistently no matter what we are doing. Basically the game has become unplayable for us. In order to fix this, I downloaded WTFast because I thought there must be a problem with how our information is getting to the servers (My computer is decently powerful and I didn't think there were any other reasons for lag). And it turns out I was correct. When using WTFast there was a noticeable difference, it was literally on the scale of night and day. When looking at the comparison information that the Wtfast program provides, I noticed that the regular internet route was experiencing a huge amount of packet loss. I remember that at one time, over 50 packets where lost and my ping average without WTFast was between 70-90, where as with WTFast it hovered between 20 and 30. Obviously I can't be completely certain how accurate WTFast comparison charts are. As I have solved my personal problem using WTFast, I am mostly creating this post for my friends who have been going through the same issue but don't use the forums. One uses PS4 so he can't uses WTFast, while the other uses PC but doesn't want to pay an extra $9.99 a month for a service that should be provided by Square Enix. They have made in game bug reports about this issue but have gotten no response.

We usually play between the hours of 7-10 EST, and said issue happens consistently through this period. This issue started to occur mid-December, before this, we have been playing for 2 years without issue. (Heck I've even played 1.0 a lot and never had latency this severe)
