Do the right thing! "Vote Dismiss"

Today during lvl60 Roulette I got Nevereap and we had a fresh lvl 60 Bard.
Now, this Bard was using Wander's Minuet, putting DoTs on enemies, and honestly doing his best.
He was wearing Normal Quality gear with Law Waist & accesories.

This player was trying.
Now we face the first boss, and our Tank chastised him for not killing every add.

After the 1st boss our Bard says that he has to go his parents are kicking him off. He's sorry for the inconvenience.
Our tank says: "Yay!"

So our Bard leaves and our Tank then issues a Vote Dismiss.
But his reason is: "Cheating"

I object because the Bard is offline. Not cheating.
Our tank responds: "Well he was bad."
I reply: "The guy was new. He was not cheating. If anything, he is now Offline. Thats wrong!"
Tank responds: "I don't care. He shouldn't have been bad."
I reply: "Bad? He was obviously a fresh 60. And none of us bothered to explain anything to him. So to label him a cheater for being new is wrong."

Then boom I see the loading screen. I assume I got dismissed under the label of cheating considering the level of (censored)hole this Tank was.

The moral...
Folks don't just click Yes to a vote dismiss.
They have a reason code for a reason.
If someone is not offline, is not harassing, is not cheating then don't hit yes.

It isn't fair to that player. To flag their account for something that they didn't do.
IMO thats slander.

I get that people want to avoid conflict but if anything the Tank needed to be kicked. Not me for standing up for another player.

If we don't teach or give players a chance when they are new to content then we are only making more "bads".
Its a self-fufilling propecy at this point.

The Bard was still kicked under the label of "Cheating" when he had simply gone offline.

You only need 2 votes to get kicked. So it was the tank and the other remaining player against him.

You can be the voice of reason but you don't know if you're around the right people to be such in this game.

And I'm not sure why a vote was even necessary for the bard, when he had to go anyway..

Perhaps was a friend. Or they were annoyed at the OP being a voice of reason. Unfortunately, there appears to be more players with a small moral scope than those with a large one.

Btw, I don't discourage sticking up for someone(I will do it and then I will leave.), and in this game the OP was well in the right to do so. The tank was probably spamming his FC chat with his complaints and you'd surely have 4-5 people silently thinking the same thing you're thinking.

By fear of being kicked is that I did not yet do dungeon for Roulette Lv60 and Expert. I already have almost all the item iLvl 180 in my Sch, but already I imagine that there will be people thinking unpleasant things by I do not be 195+. I bought the expansion 1 month ago.

Perhaps I try when get Relic iLvl170 or 200. Still using weapon iLvl150 from craft.

Don't worry about it. I was full 170 when I did Level 60 roulette as a healer. No one said anything, but it wasn't exactly easy to heal until I got my i200 weapon. The weapon matters more than anything.

why do i only see vote dismiss and arguments mostly only happen on eng servers? are us eng people truly this horrible to eachother?

Seems so, but I personally have only come across 3-4 bad DF runs with questionable personalities, back when I was on an NA server.
