Not to mention the housing stuff for the 1-2% players who can use them...

the items are indoor furnishings, which can be put in your personal room, which is way more than 1-2% of the player population has. If it was more outdoor furniture I'd understand your gripe.

Also might want to hold onto indoor furnishings anyway, with apartments coming in the near future.

I stopped playing the game for a while so I could finish up college, and I just feel like I missed out on so many cool things in previous events. I thought the All Saint's Wake event this year was so much fun, but this year's Starlight and now Valentione's Day are just...disappointing No cool outfits, no cool barding stuff, just a hat and some earrings? I am always so excited for these silly little events, but when I look back on previous years, it just seems they don't really care with this round of events and their items (except the Halloween one).

My concern is that - once again - the event rewards are exceptionally underwhelming for male characters in particular. The gear appears to be designed in a feminine/androgynous manner which will appeal to some people, yes, but if we had variants for both male and female characters then it'd be easier to be a lot more enthusiastic about the event itself. A uniquely designed tuxedo which could be dyed would have been wonderful.

A tiara with a few glowing/twinkling hearts on it would have been nicer imo..

Earrings are too small of a vanity item to get excited about, most get covered by hairstyles and are not noticeable, they are not badly designed, they are quite cute tbh..just a piece of vanity that is not noticeable on many players.

The furniture is pretty nice, I will get a few of the chairs more then likely and store them away until they increase housing item limits. Once again though it looks like we cant dye the chair halves.... unlike the bed, if so, then that's a no no SE...please stop adding furniture we cant dye! O.o

Man, you guys complain about anything and everything.

The hat's base is the Flat Cap which is already in game, not the Moogle Mail hat. Flat Cap just disables Miqo'te ears. In the demo pic the female is obviously a Miqo'te (no ears, fat face, huge eyes etc.).

The earrings? The design is nice and it doesn't look huge and chunky like most earrings in this game. It'll match the choker.

The furniture is cute and at least the bed is dyeable. Dye it orange and it matches the Halloween stuff maybe? Sure it's goofy but so are catgirl tanks running around in bikinis. It's ok if it doesn't suit your tastes because it works for someone out there.

From the sound of the questline SPOILER dialogue though, I look forward to everyone complaining about having to party up to do the questline.

For me, personally, this is the first time I've entered the Valentione's Day event, and so these items look rather exciting. As a new player to this game, I'm looking forward to this.

But as an old vet to another MMORPG, I can also see your side of things. :P Can't please everyone, I guess.
