Vista /lookout when mounted

So can someone explain how i am supposed to do the /lookout at a location that does not allow you to land anywhere? When i try to do it, it says "Cannot execute command when mounted"

Edit: I have tried landing right on it to dismount, and cannot run up the chain either.

you have to run up the railings of the bridge on foot. when you reach the area directly on top of the lantern, drop down from it onto the lantern and /lookout.

Thank you, apparently i didn't go far enough to get out of the "cannot land here" spell. Interesting that they found the need to implement a "Cannot land here, but can access it only via foot" code. So the game can distinguish between landing access via foot and mount...interesting.

Also interesting is the fact that you can mount up at the location once you get there on foot. The code just blocks mount landing.

you're most welcome! Hinterlands has the most beautiful vistas i have ever seen in the game imo. i was finding myself afk'ing in that little island near the northeast corner of the map looking at Idyllshire. Good luck, future Veteran Explorer!
