Tbh, I think you will regret the decision to not get the xp later.

What is your fear here?

The dungeons have level sync, the open world quests aren't difficult even at minimum level, and there are some very big xp gaps later, where you will have to go catch up just to continue with the story. I think you are over estimating how far the exp will take you. It will pretty much just help you access Dusk Vigil.
