I know some (most ? ) people might not care about it, but it's nice to see that the game still pleases people to the point of being deemed "best game of the year" by them.


Because eventually, no matter how much we love to bitch about details within the game, we still love it, and we love seeing it flourish and please new (and old) players as much as it pleases (or pleased) us.

indeed it is. Doesn't change the fact that it's nice to see that people still enjoy the game nowadays, witht the amount of bitching you can see here and there (especially on Reddit). I'm guilty of bitching too about some stuff (first in line, AS difficulty), but I still love the game, and love seeing that other people love it too. Feels good.

I think he may have joined due to the heavy advertisement for Heavensward, making FFxiv one of "his 2015 games". but yeah, FFxiv isn't exactly one of 2015 games ^^

I like the formula, I like the basics of the game. I'm still a believer it could become something godlike. The 2.0 re-hash doesn't have me positive. Their fear of balance and difficulty is hindering it's growth.

But i understand where you're coming from. People who are upset are way more likely to voice it than those who love it. I'm an example of that. When I really enjoyed the game I didn't bother to post here. I started to post because I feared staleness. Which is why I'm being negative on here

He said "Just kidding" at the end showing Monster Hunter 4. I also doubt he played long enough realize the flaws in the games update patterns and design choices to see what makes this game ultimately smaller than what it seems. btw I found his lodestone character

, he basically just started. Got his leatherworker up though so that's some work into it.

Basically i believe its a case of "nost-awe-struck" Like a mixture of nostalgia and awestruck. Nostalgia for the fact he was a hardcore wow player and wished to get a similar experience, well he got that, and the amazing graphics, story telling (What SE does best) and partially diverse content (like steps of faith and 8 man dungeons). Mixing both gives him the right enough push to trek through the game with great intentions and a goofy smile he makes sometimes lol. Give em a year, that's if the devs don't start paying attention.
