Required Class/Rank failed - Can we have Optimal Rank and Favoured Class back?

EDIT: And while we're at it, what reason is there for a level 50 to wear level 1 gear? Because they have the ability to do so - why aren't you concerned about restricting this?

Because of the same reason they want the restrictions on the other side - they think of their level and gear as some sort of #@$&ing status symbol and feel slighted if they feel like another player hasn't "earned" it. I like to call it SSS - Special Snowflake Syndrome.

I've read this entire thread and have yet to see a single valid reason against the optimal level system.
