the point is that there is no reason for a level 20-30 to wear rank 50 armor, it was an interesting feature, but in the long run it did not work, so it was changed.

That.. couldn't be farther from the point.

If there wasn't a "reason" to wear level 50 armor at level 20, no one would do it. What I hope you meant is that there is no gameplay benefit to doing so, to which I'd say, "so what?" That's not a good reason to ban it altogether.

The real point is that you don't see a reason to equip level 50 gear as a level 20. But just because you don't have a reason to do it, doesn't mean that no one should have the ability to do it.

That is the point.


EDIT: And while we're at it, what reason is there for a level 50 to wear level 1 gear? Because they have the ability to do so - why aren't you concerned about restricting this?
