moving to garlemald or elsewhere

ok so i'm sure others have wondered about this even just alittle bit but...who would like to see the warrior of light going to garlemald at some point to bring the fight the the garleans for a change? At some point it's gonna have to happen right? i know i'd like to get the chance to do some dungeons or raids that give out garlean armor or maybe from a quest that you aren't wearing some stupid pot on your head and some dumb robe like the basic troopers that were defeated and made part of they're army.

Maybe this could be a new patch at some point or even the next expansion? or something else for a new expansion anyone have any thoughts?

Well it looks like we're going further east so... Also Ala Migho is in Garlean control so that's a possibility maybe next expansion pack.

Ala Migho is most likely the next expansion, since after Ishgard and the rest of Coerthas it's the last bit of Eorzea which is still under Garlean control. We likely won't be going to Garlemald anytime soon, probably not until at least after a 5.x expansion I would imagine. We have a lot more ground to cover on Eorzea and even after that the trip from Eorzea to Garlemald isn't a straight route. It probably will require us to go through some other region to get there since it's unlikely Eorzea would be able to launch a direct assault against the Empire without having some sort of land-base in place first.

Well i suppose that they will work on some kinda expansion adding the new garmeland continent.. What i really hope to see in the empire is citys like that are in FF 13 i think it was, something like Dalmasca and such, would be so nice

Dalmasca was FF12, not 13, 13 had Coccoon, and...well that was it really until the sequel games ^^


Unrelated to the above quoted post: I would love to see us go to Garlemald, but am I the only one that doesn't really see them as an enemy force? I'd like differences in rhetoric to be set aside for [insert global threat] and have Eorzea and Garlemald work together instead. Could lend for some interesting developments in teaching our characters different fighting styles (yay new jobs), or even options to add a third tribe to each race (except miqo/au ra, at least), that being "imperial"
