HW fate areas are too small..(Level sync gripes)

So after grinding out my last Awakened weapon I figure I really have to ask...

Please make the Heavensward fate areas bigger! Or at least stop putting the enemy spawns outside the damn circle.

You lose level sync all the damn time because they spawn outside the area and people who are levelling zerg them there, this was rarely an issue in the older (better designed) areas of ARR.

Also, pretty please, make Kiss of the Viper / Wasp / Darkside / Grit carry over when you sync, you did it for WAR so show us some more love?

Level syncing and losing it on SCH and AST, with Aetherflow stacks, saved cards!?! Seriously annoying ><

I can't hit like on this enough Like +100000000000

Sometimes you cannot even get credit on certain FATEs if you are synced and there are people leveling there. The non-synced players can go fight the FATE mobs outside the sync area and you can't even reach them.

This is why we need a "join FATE" button. It's not fair that while on level you can jump in and join the conflict, and if you have to sync you might even lose any chance of credit. It would also help aliviate the annoyance of having to hear and read everything about a FATE whilst gathering or doing something else entirely. Add a button to join, no matter if synced or on level, and automaticly sync to the FATE for everyone, about time now.

Also, Coerthas Central "The eyes have it" with Cyclops superstar: the Fate area is far too small. Again, the pain to sync back and forth and the aoe of the main boss' makes you leave the area every time.

It's irksome to have protect wear off every time you level sync. Why is this a thing. I could understand lvl 60 buffs but low level buffs should still stay on. There's 0 need of that.

    Greetings,

The range of individual FATEs are set so that there isn't much of a difference between others; however, depending on the location, and due to a variety of factors, elements such as the monster's spawn area may be somewhat different.

We'll check to see if we can adjust the ones we have received feedback on, so please continue to post your feedback with the name of the area, FATE, and the specifics from the FATE you would like to see adjusted.

Another thing I've noticed even in ARR fates is that sometimes enemies spawn so far away from their own radius that if you attack them as soon as they spawn they'll immeditly become invincible while they run to their retreat-to point. I've seen this happen often in the "Overlooking The Obvious" fate in Outer La Noscea.

The problem is with FATE-monsters spawning outside of the FATE area, rather than within it.

These mobs can be engaged where they spawn (outside the FATE circle) by:

    a) players who don't have to level sync because they are within the FATE's level range

    b) players using ranged-based characters who are attacking from a distance within the FATE circle

    ..but *not*..

    c) players using melee-based characters who can not leave the FATE circle without losing the level-sync.

That's an issue that needs fixing.

Frankly, that's SE's job, Zhexos. The original post is the feedback. This potentially affects all or most fates, and you all are the ones with the data about fate size, enemy spawn locations etc.

Here's a list of FATEs that I personally have encountered this and other problems with. In almost every instance, the monsters spawn outside of the FATE area.

    Coerthas Western Highlands:
    Run, Riders, Run
    Land of the Freeze
    Dawn of the Mylodons
    Polar Express
    True Convictions
    Unsilent Vigil
    Sick Pack
    Requiem for a Dragon
Pico de Gallows -- a boss FATE yes, but between the size of the boss and the nearby rams it's easy to not have a sense of space and reset the boss by accident.

    Sea of Clouds:
Anzu Trois -- not a level sync issue, but mob spawning is very awkward; mobs reset from where they are spawned and in one case, the mob spawns so far away that it "teleports" to position when attacked
Bismarcking Time > Let There Be Acolytes > A Disturbing Lack of Faith -- In this chain the HP for all monsters is set extremely high without scaling, which seems very odd

    Dravanian Forelands:
    Bear Apparent
Special Tarasque Force -- Tarasque's AoE attack tends to force players outside of the FATE area, either through actual impact or through players attempting to avoid it

    The Churning Mists:
    How to Cane Your Dragon
    Sprite Club
    Vouivre Believre
    Wave Good-bye
    Say it Tulihand
    Supper Time

    Azys Lla:
Out of Sight, Out of Mind -- nothing particularly "wrong" per se, but does anyone know why this spawns with only a 5 minute timer? It's definitely an oddity among FATEs.

I hope this helps, Zhexos, and if anyone else wants to add to this list or remove it would be appreciated. This is a more consolidated start, at least.
