I am greatly disappointed in your reply.

Do you understand the difference between a multiplayer game designed for 20-100 hours of gameplay, and an MMO like FFXIV? Issues such as balance and strong distinction between classes? More classes and more abilities to choose from means nothing when there is little distinction between the way you end up playing the game.

But go on, do tell us how amazing FFE is on a technical level, and how FFXIV devs should be ashamed of the lack of work they've put into their game.

The game was a monster hunter clone, which is basically the most generic formula out-of-touch companies currently follow when trying to make new game for handhelds. It was released in Japan over a year ago with little fanfare to appeal to Japanese children who, at this point, are far more aware of the monster hunter franchise than they are the Final Fantasy franchise. It failed in this goal, likely because of low production quality, lack of distinction from other monster hunter clones, and the fact that they are 5-6 years late in joining this fad.

World of Final Fantasy is a game I'm hopefully looking forward to. Similar concept of nostalgia exploitation, but with artwork and game concept that isn't an exact copy of someone else's work.

Also, I hope there is no Region Lock, I haven't heard anything about it. >.<

I thought all 3DS games had a region lock? The game has been out in Japan for over a year.

And for the majority of posters, isn't there a demo for this game on the store? The Japanese version had a demo at least. I played the demo long enough for my eyes to glaze over due to the total lack of distinction between this and the half dozen other monster hunter clones I've played.
