i was unaware that a game had to look good to be considered good. that must be why all of the fire emblem series, persona, dark cloud, and other such games suck, right?

They do waste such good opportunities to do crossovers like with X/X-2's HD releases and Bravely Default/Second...
Granted, does Explorers have that much of an identity?

This new FF has 20 classes.
Multiclassing
Crossover abilities
A class designed to mix classes.

FFXIV has 13 classes.
No Multiclassing.
VERY limited Crossover abilities.
Against mixing/choice.

Different games are Different?

The games don't cater to the same audience. I for one am glad that SquEnix puts out differing games.

Thinking about it, but everyone I've talked to about it has basically christened it "Baby's First Monster Hunter" and urged me to stay away from it. I might pick it up if red mage is a selectable job, but only when it's on sale.
