The thread was moved over from In-Game Bugs to the class specific Thaumaturge section! As someone previously said, it all has to do with positioning and the class you're playing. I'm sure others will also be helpful here. Thanks for posting!

Yes unfortunately it seems that CNJ aoe is affected by "Depth of Field". Pretty much if you or a party member are slightly elevated they will not receive buffs or cures depending on you target. That is why the party can be completely together in the aoe field but not receive these spells. My suggestion.. Turn off this depth of field you have set for Cures and Buffs. I can see it being setup that way for any Magic that debuffs or hurts an enemy, but having to cast protect and have it hit half the party then wait for recast timer is kind of redundant lol.
