I played PS3 at launch and then upgraded to PS4 several months later. The PS3 may not look nearly as good (obviously), but aside from cutscenes loading slowly, there were no large issues that completely broke gameplay. It's worth noting that players can now also turn off cutscenes they have previously viewed, which fixes some issues. I can't speak for Diadem or any HW map issues, but 2.0 offered a solid PS3 experience. I don't think there's any reason to cut off PS3 players at this point.

And, speaking to the Vita conversation going along here and there, I would like to interject. I bought a Vita near launch with the primary purpose of playing Persona 4 Golden, a purpose for which it performed marvelously. I would have been satisfied with my purchase then and there, but there have been tons of other great games to be released on the system. I do, however, think that Sony has completely dropped the ball with marketing the console, and the high prices for memory cards definitely do not help the situation. I am also extremely disappointed that the Final Fantasy Adventure/Sword of Mana remake won't be on Vita in America even though it's getting translated... for phones. Now the only Vita title I'm looking forward to is VA11-Hall-A, which is being developed primarily with PC in mind. I love my Vita, but I do think that it was overall disappointing for American audiences. Outside of indie developers, many companies treat it as an afterthought and don't actually release original content for it outside of Japan. Many Japanese titles won't even find their way to our shores due to translation problems. Things could have been handled much better.
