When is the PS3 Version going to get cancelled?

Doesn't matter what Japan favors or whatever. The Video Game Industry consists of other Countries buying the video game and spending money. This game is not a big selling game, the units sold ps3/ps4 and pc combines isn't really big compared to the AAA game past few years. Ps4 is the best selling console fast pace over ps3. PS4 has about 30 million users and the amount of ps3 users is not even a factor when it's cancelled. There isn't millions of ps3 users playing the game.

Japan industrie does matter a lot when editing a game with a japanese audience in mind, from a japanese company.

Not to mention this game doesn't make money from copy selling but from subscriptions so the big factor isn't the future buyers but the current subscribers.

The following is the only thing that matters, no matter much you might refuse to admit it : out of the 771k players FFxiv has, a significant part of them are playing on PS3. Significant enough to justify having the PS3 support.

Now you can cry in corners and throw fits in anger, it doesn't matter one bit. Facts are here, and baseless opinions just fade away
