Dev request for fan service - 4 Elemental Fiends from FFIV

I would love to see the the 4 elemental fiends from Final Fantasy IV make an appearance in XIV. Make them a challenge and not some end dungeon boss. Would be cool if they were requirements for part of the last relic step or something like that. Vote like if u guys would like to see em make an appearance as well.

Pandering to nostalgia is fan service by definition, even if not used in the conventional sense of the word.

That aside, I would also love to see these as bosses.

Wasnt the last part of 3.0 story showing a clip from the moon. Mabye we will see FuSoYa and fight Golbez. Man the nostalgia from that game is real.

Unfortunately post-2.0 relics have to be obtainable by players who don't have fingers, so something like this is unlikely. I also think we're not likely to see Rubicante and company, but four elemental fiends is a thing that pops up in FF so maybe they'll come in another form. Might be too similar to primals though.

Even if it's not the same elemental archfiends from FFIV I would love to see this! Nostalgia just kicked into overdrive, thx OP lol. Heck, even if we don't get the fiends I'll still be happy if we can eventually go to the moon though, maybe, pleaaase? (We could fight them ON the moon! :O) <3 But yeah definitely has my vote!

Aside from the main story having some originality, the game is overloaded with fanservice as is.

... I wouldn't be opposed to it, but they'd have to do it well. And why not the original Four Fiends (though they'd have to find a workaround for Tiamat)?
