April 2012= "We shift over to the 2.0 Client" In which in turn need to have the servers that can withstand 2.0 client. As it stands with the Current FFXIV Server, I highly Doubt the Current servers could last on the 2.0 Client.

Also, they are Progressively Fixing the servers each and every patch ( probably even after 2.0) the server will keep getting tweaks and stuff.

You're vastly misunderstanding the notes we got. The game, 2.0, comes out in 2013. They weren't even vague about it. Look at just the first slide:

They start DISTRIBUTING 2.0 client in October. The Closed Beta/Free Trial/PS3 release are slated for end of 2012, start of 2013.
