




Had they combined that philosophy with a world worth exploring in the first place, we probably wouldn't have have as many complaints as we did.I'll just pretend you didn't embarrass yourself by pretending you play this game and that I don't and focus on your next point. It's true the game was never entirely uninstanced, but one of FFXIV's original philosophies was to keep players playing in the same world. I think that's what an MMO should be about. It should be a virtual world, not just an entrace lobby, nor a substrate to connect players. And whether or not FFXIV has a history of acheiving this concept, it was certainly a base philosophy. Yoshi is straying too far from this original philosophy.
And if you hated this philosophy "then why did you play this game to begin with?"
Oh that's right, you don't play it.
