The Duty Finder would be better with this option system. So I would always give a commendation to the person that gaves me one too.

How would this work? You're not able to see your comms until after you leave the duty.

No, if you want comms then earn them. Git gud, play your job well and stand out or do something to impress me such as saving the party from a wipe.

Qued into A4 Normal the other day as a tank and we had a brand new summoner. Both healers died to dolls and the summoner managed to get them up including one other dps who has died. Guess who got all the comms that run.

We had a keeper of the lake the other day that I was healing. I derped and died during the second add. The tank and one DPS managed to get the add down before dying. An insane little Lala machinist was the second DPS and he solo'd Midgardsormr down the last 5% - preventing us from having to redo the fight from scratch. Guess who got all the comms?

If everyone in your party performed well, but not particularly outstanding, the etiquette as it was established early on was tank coms healer, healer coms tank, and DPS com each other. (All bets are off if someone is clearly bad - or if someone pulls a win out of their butt like that machinist did.)

Also should be a way to give a friend commendation. When you do the content with friends or LS/ fc.

Commendations need improvements, but I couldn't care less who gives them. Given how it works (you receive them after leaving the instance) what does it even matter? Most of the time you're never going to meet those people again, you're certainly not going to be able to "trade" commendations like that.

One thing we really need is a "Commend All" option, because some times you get a really great party, and everyone is great, and you can't commend everyone, despite them all deserving it... Might knock the whole "Give Tank/Healer Commendation" mentality off the top spot...

Nope, keep it the way it is. Leaving a commendation is already an optional experience. The only improvement I could see happening is being able to leave commendations to multiple players.
