Why are low standards for dps acceptable?

Now I wonder where you got that from, becaue you don't use Thunder in your opener or randomly throw around scathes.

Wait what? What's wrong with using thunder in your opener? I usually start with Raging Strikes, Ley Lines, Swift Cast, Fire III, Sharp Cast, Thunder, Fire I, Thundercloud, Fire I spam till OOM, Blizard III, Thunder, Fire III etc. Even before I got Sharp Cast I would always start Fire III and then Thunder before spamming Fire I so I would get that chance at proccing thundercloud up asap.
