The new concept screenshot is a real-time in-game render!

For those who don't want a moddable ui and say it'll add clutter and here look at the worst wow UI I've found ever that uses the default hotbars and map and 3 mods that haven't been resized or anything... look at this: http://www.wowuigallery.com/topic/tukui-v10

Addons don't necessarily mean clutter.

And maybe I just haven't looked at the screenshot hard enough but I see NO change in art style and it still looks pretty damn realistic. I want to know where this "it looks like a downgrade I don't like the style" is coming from.

I think that screenshot looks amazing and I'm excited.

Totally, I've had addon's that hide almost the whole UI or put up tones of info dependent on what's happening or at the flick of a key..
If they build that in as default as well as letting us mod it... win win imo.

Essentially the point I was trying to make.. It is a single screenshot, and like you said, alot of the stuff we see there we already have... Full parties consisting of 8 people. And as far as people complaining about the actual location of some of the widgets.. Seriously??!??!! Even in the current UI the widgets are movable, yet they complain like once 2.0 comes out, that is the screen they will get, period, end of sentence...

I'm all for discussion about the changes, but what I have seen from the people complaining are mostly childish complaints posted by people who obviously didn't bother to think anything through before posting their complaint.

I was trying to give constructive and sarcastic criticism at the same time, but its been a long day an don't think it worked lol..

But anyway I totally agree i think the whiners and just whining cos they are used to it, or they want a XI-2 or they want WoW or They want god knows what but meh...
Think there has been a lot of good complaining though, i know I've done a lot when i don't like what's happening but it does seem that rolls have taken root on the Pro and Anti Sides of every single idea now, an rant regardless even when we have constructive pro/con arguments put forward about things.

I just plan on champaign (aka browbeating YoshiP/Devs) to get the UI moved up to the same level in my mind as those new Graphics, that one is to common looking for the new FFXIV, we need something more Special imo..

But as I'm ranting I think I shall sleep lol..
